Some sidewalks showed chalk lettering featuring the brand new CHOP branding.

A team of people joined the perimeter Saturday carrying big American flags. A melee broke away plus some protesters occupying the area tried to rip the flags from their hands.

It was not yet determined just what team those holding the flags were associated with, however some in the crowd accused them of being white supremacists or users for the Proud Boys, a group that is far-right.
